John Washington

Mr. John T. Washington Jr. was the eldest of 6 sibling's. Born 1941 in Philadelphia Penn. and raised in a small town Grasonville Maryland. Obtained his High School diploma in 1959. Enlisted in US Air Force in 1959. Served as a Chef cook for four year's; two year's in Libya, North Africa and two year's in Witchita Falls, Texas. Received an Honorable Discharge 1963. Moved back to Maryland working odds job's. Move to New York in 1966 worked as a cook in several hospital in Brooklyn while going to night school for Graphic Arts and Painting. While attending school found job in Graphic Arts magazine publishing. Met his first wife in 1968 married and relocated to Long Island, New York. Change job to National Bank of North America for 7 year's then change job to Fairchild Aircraft Company. From there moved to his last job doing Graphic arts relating to brochures, flier's, poster's and etc,.where he worked for 17 year's and retired in TIAA-Craf. Teacher Insurance Annuity Association.
